Medtech Publishing Company required a website that would expedite online sales of yellowpage listings. We delivered: now, customers can easily purchase any number of listings, the website calculates their order totals (plus discounts) and allows them to upload all production graphics, all from a streamlined interface. The publishers can then manage all orders and production files from a secure administrative area.

Paul Gurney and Rick Baskett developed this full-featured website application using HTML, CSS, PHP and mySQL. It also uses ViaKlix technology (via Key Bank) for real-time credit card transactions. We are especially proud of Rick's work with AJAX, a set of technologies that allows web apps to be as full-featured and responsive as desktop software. A popular example of an AJAX-enabled site is maps.google.com, where the map can be click-dragged in real-time without reloading the page.
